Yes! You can upgrade to Gold, Diamond, or Platinum at any time. Any unused balance from your current plan will be adjusted accordingly.

Unlimited means there are no restrictions on that feature during your plan validity period. You can use it as many times as you need without worrying about a cap.

Plan Validity is the duration your selected plan stays active, starting from the day of purchase.

• Each plan has a fixed duration — e.g., 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months.
• All limits (interests, chats, contact views, etc.) are allocated for the entire validity period, not per day.
• Once validity expires, your account automatically reverts to Free unless you renew.

Example: Gold Plan (1 month) gives you 20 Send Interests, 10 Chats, and 10 Contact Views to use within that month.

Initiate Chat means you are the first person to send a message in a conversation.

• When you start a conversation → 1 Initiate Chat is deducted from your account.
• When another member messages you first → no deduction from your account; you can reply freely.

Example: You message first → 1 chat used. They message first → free for you.

Profile Boosting displays your profile in the site's featured section daily.

• Boosted profiles get significantly more visibility than standard profiles.
• Appear in a special highlighted area seen by more active members every day.
• Leads to more views, interests received, and connections.

Profile Boosting increases your chances of finding the right match — faster.

Profile Highlight adds a special badge to your profile — Gold, Diamond, or Platinum.

• Signals to other members that you are a verified, serious user.
• Builds trust and credibility — highlighted profiles receive more responses.
• Makes your profile stand out in search results and listing pages.

Profile Highlight is your visible stamp of genuineness on the platform.

Sending an interest is like raising your hand to say you're interested in a profile. The other member is notified and can choose to accept, ignore, or respond. Each interest sent counts toward your plan's interest limit.

View Contact lets you see the phone number and direct contact details of a profile you're interested in. Free plan members cannot use this feature — it requires a Gold, Diamond, or Platinum plan. Each view is counted from your plan limit.

Yes. Our team manually reviews profile photos and details before approving them. We also rely on community reporting to flag suspicious profiles. We are committed to maintaining a safe and genuine matrimonial platform.

Yes. You can request account deletion by contacting our support team at support@matrimony365.net. We will process your request within 7 working days and permanently remove your data.

Absolutely. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Your contact details (phone number, email) are never shown publicly — they are only revealed when you explicitly choose to share them through the platform. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.

A match happens when two people express interest in each other — meaning you sent interest to someone and they also sent interest back to you. It is completely mutual.

1. You browse profiles and tap Interest on someone you like.
2. If that person also taps Interest on your profile, you both become a match instantly.
3. You will both be notified and can now freely message each other.

There is no time limit — matches stay until one person unmatches.

You can send interest from multiple places on the platform:

• Open any profile and tap the Interest (heart) button on the profile page.
• From the Browse / Search results, use the heart icon on any profile card.
• From your Recommended Matches list on the home screen.

Once sent, the other person will receive a notification. If they send interest back, you will match! You can withdraw your interest at any time by tapping the button again.

Yes — on Gold, Diamond, and Platinum plans you can start a conversation with any profile even before a mutual match.

On the Free plan, messaging is available only after both parties have matched (mutual interest). This encourages genuine connections and keeps conversations meaningful.

Tip: Sending a warm, personalised interest message dramatically increases the chance of a reply.

Here are the most common reasons and how to fix them:

• No profile photo — profiles with a clear, recent photo get up to 5× more interest. Go to Edit Profile → Photos to upload one.
• Incomplete profile — fill in education, occupation, family details, and horoscope. More info = more trust.
• Narrow preferences — if your age/height/caste filters are very tight, fewer profiles will appear in your feed. Consider widening them slightly.
• Not sending enough interests — matches are mutual; the more interests you send to relevant profiles, the higher your chances.
• Profile not approved yet — new profiles go through a brief review. Check your profile status under My Profile.

• Shortlist (Save) — a private bookmark you place on profiles you want to revisit later. The other person is not notified. Useful for keeping track of profiles you found interesting but haven't decided on yet.
• Interest — an active signal sent to the other person, notifying them that you are interested. They can approve, ignore, or send interest back.
• Match — created automatically when both of you have sent each other interest. Unlocks full messaging and contact details (depending on plan).

On the Matches page, each matched profile has an Unmatch button. Tapping it will:

1. Remove the mutual match between you two.
2. Remove the profile from your Matches list immediately.
3. The other person will no longer appear in your matches (and vice versa).

Unmatching does not block the person. If you want to prevent all contact, use the Block option from their profile page.

All plans allow unlimited matching, but higher plans unlock additional benefits:

• Free — limited interests per day, messaging only after matching, contact details hidden.
• Gold — more interests per day, initiate messages before matching, see who viewed your profile.
• Diamond — unlimited interests, full contact details on matches, priority in search results.
• Platinum — all Diamond benefits plus dedicated matchmaking assistance and profile highlight.

Every profile goes through a manual review by the Matrimony365 team before becoming visible to other members. We check:

• Profile photo authenticity
• Basic personal details for consistency
• ID verification (optional but encouraged — adds a verified badge)

If you ever come across a suspicious profile, please use the Report option on their profile page. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.

Yes! You will receive notifications through:

• In-app badge — the Matches menu item will show a count of new matches.
• Email — a notification is sent to your registered email when a new match is created.
• Push notification — if you have the Matrimony365 mobile app installed and notifications enabled.

You can manage your notification preferences under Settings → Notifications.

Follow these steps to maximise your match rate:

1. Upload 3–5 clear, recent photos — include a close-up face shot and at least one full-length photo. Natural lighting works best.
2. Write a genuine bio — describe your personality, interests, and what you are looking for in a partner. Avoid generic phrases.
3. Fill every field — education, occupation, family type, mother tongue, and horoscope details all help the algorithm suggest you to compatible profiles.
4. Be specific about partner preferences — clearly stating what you are looking for helps the platform show your profile to the right people.
5. Stay active — profiles that log in regularly are ranked higher in search results and recommendation feeds.
6. Respond promptly — when someone sends you interest or a message, a quick response signals genuine intent and keeps the conversation warm.
